Magic Chef
--brand appliances include freezers, microwaves, wine and beverage coolers, ice makers, crock pots, blenders, toaster ovens and washers and dryers. Manufactured by the Whirlpool Corporation, Magic Chef items can be found in many appliance and home retail stores. The Magic Chef washer offers several standard features, such as heavy, regular and delicate wash cycles, as well as variable time options. Troubleshooting the Magic Chef washer can help you if you're experiencing difficulty with the unit, and may offer a solution to the problem.
Instructions
1. Verify that the Magic Chef washer is connected to a grounded power supply if the washer is not working. Check the circuit breaker box or fuse and reset or replace it if needed.
2. Pull out the timer knob if the washer has power but is not starting to begin the wash cycle. Verify that the water faucets are properly connected and turned on and the lid is closed.
3. Open the washer and redistribute the items inside if the washer is very noisy during operation. Avoid overfilling the washer, as this may cause vibration. Make sure that all four legs are touching the floor and the floor surface is level. Add a piece of plywood under the washer to add stability if necessary.
4. Check the drain hose and water inlet hose connections if the washer is leaking. Make sure the drain hose and water inlet hoses are not clogged or kinked.
