Military Water Bottle Types

Water bottles used by the military can withstand nearly any environment.

Members of the military often endure strenuous conditions. Whether deployed to arid foreign countries or in the midst of a training exercise, it's important for troops to stay hydrated. There are many water bottles designed for various climate conditions, times of extended travel and workout sessions. While each bottle is designed differently for various circumstances, all support the same objective.

Hi-Viz Hydration Pack

The Camelbak Hi-Viz is a hydration pack designed for conditions of low visibility or circumstances when maintaining high visibility is imperative. The pack is equipped with reflective strips and is worn like a backpack. A narrow hose extends from the pack to allow for easy water consumption. Insulation ensures water remains cool for several hours, while a cover keeps debris from entering the hose.

Military G.I. Issue Canteen

Canteens are durable containers made of a hard material such as metal or plastic that are used to carry liquids. The Galaxy Army Navy Military G.I. Issue Canteen is made in the United States and holds up to 1 qt. of liquid. It's made of plastic, which usually weighs the same or less than a metal canteen of similar dimensions. The canteen is reliably leakproof, even during rough handling or use.

Ambush AB-500

During dangerous situations when personal protective equipment must be worn, the Camelbak Ambush AB-500 water pack attaches directly to your body armor. The low-profile tank holds 102 ozs. of liquid and is available in black and camouflage patterns. The pack is designed so body armor can be quickly removed in an emergency without causing interference. A pressure strap is built onto the pack so glasses and goggles can be rinsed easily while you're on the move.

Canteen with Cover

The Special Forces canteen holds up to 2 qts. of liquid and helps to keep the contents cold. It comes equipped with a case and shoulder strap so it can be easily carried. The case is constructed with multiple pockets, allowing you to store small items such as pocket knives and lighters.

Nalgene Everyday Tritan

The Nalgene Everyday Tritan holds 32 ozs. of liquid. The bottle comes in several colors and can withstand extremely cold and hot temperatures ranging from 40 to 212 degrees Fahrenheit. It is also safe to clean in the dishwasher. Nalgene bottles have a lid that screws on and seals to keep liquid from leaking.
