Brighten Up Your Whites

Brighten Up Your Whites

If your whites are looking dingy, there are simple and cheap tricks to help whiten them up. Here are a few easy and cheap ways to do so with items you probably have at home already.

Instructions

1. Arm & Hammer Baking Soda - When washing whites simply add in half a cup to a full cup of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda into your washer along with the normal amount of laundry detergent.

2. Cascade Dishwasher Detergent - Mix in half a cup of Cascade dishwasher detergent along with the normal amount of laundry soap, into your washing cycle. Allow it to soak for an hour or overnight, then run the cycle as you normally do.

3. Bleach - Many of us wash our whites regularly with bleach, but if you do not then this may make all the difference in the world. Read your clothing labels first to make sure it is alright to wash in bleach beforehand.

4. Of course wash your whites with other whites only!
