Drain My Kenmore Elite Oasis Washing Machine
You may find when washing your laundry that you need to stop the washing cycle and remove or add items to the load. On some occasions you may input the wrong washing cycle and need to restart the machine. The washing machine may remain full of water if you cancel the program in the middle of the cycle. Kenmore Elite Oasis washing machines have a draining system that allows users to manually enable the drain function of the machine.
Instructions
1. Press the "Stop" button on the control panel to stop the washing machine cycle. The "Stop" button is located under the LCD screen in the middle of the control panel.
2. Drain the machine by pressing the "Stop" button a second time. The water and detergent in the washer will drain out of the machine. You can now open up the machine to add or remove clothes as needed. The wash program you were using is cleared from the washing machine.
3. Start the machine again by entering a wash program on the control panel and pressing the "Start" button.
