Troubleshoot And Fix The Top Element In The Magic Chef

Magic Chef ovens have two heating elements, placed at the top and bottom of the oven cavity. The top element is known as the "broil element," and is used for broiling food, which provides a similar effect to grilling. If the broil element fails to heat, you must inspect it for damage, and if none is found, test the element for continuity to determine if the element or if the electronic oven control has failed.
