Mix Ammonia to Make Glass Cleaner

Using ammonia is a popular choice for window cleaning. Add a few more ingredients to the ammonia, and you have a glass cleaner, which will make window cleaning a much easier job. Ammonia is toxic, though, so take precautions.

Instructions

1. Choose a recipe for making glass cleaner. There are a number of recipes for making glass cleaner with ammonia as one of the ingredients. 2. Wear a face mask and rubber gloves. Ammonia is toxic. Breathing it into your lungs is not advisable. While mixing the ingredients and washing the windows, wear a mask to protect your lungs and gloves to protect your skin.
