Cook Outdoor On Electric Stoves

Grilling and cooking outdoors is a tradition that has been around for decades. Using an electric stove is ideal because it heats up quickly and is much less messy then charcoal or gas grilling. All you need are some simple materials and good food to cook. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Instructions

1. Prepare the food you are going to cook on the outdoor electric stove. You can cook meats, vegetables, or dozens of other dishes. You should make sure your meat is marinated correctly and trimmed up of excess fat. It needs to be small enough in order to fit on the stove plates, and use a nonstick cooking spray before setting the meat down onto the plates.

2. Make sure the stove plates are securely on the electric stove and clean before you plug in the grill and turn it on.

3. Plug the electric stove to an electrical outlet, using an extension cord if necessary. You can also use a gasoline powered generator to power the electric stove. Let the stove heat up. Make sure to check out your owner's manual in order to see what temperature the stove has to get to cook different meats or dishes.

4. Place your food on the electric stove outside, and keep a close eye on it. Food can cook very quickly on the electric stoves, so if you don't know what temperature you need it to be at, keep the stove setting low to start with.

5. Clean up the stove plates once you are finished grilling. If they are dishwasher safe, place them in or else wash by hand. Wipe thoroughly around the stove to get rid of any debris or grease splatters. Store as needed.
