Instructions
Baking Soda Soap
1. Combine 1 1/2 cups of baking soda with 1 cup of borax in a zipper-style plastic bag or a plastic container with a lid.
2. Seal the bag or close the lid on the container, and shake the ingredients to mix them.
3. Add 2 tablespoons of the soap to the detergent dispenser in your electric dishwasher. Set it to the cycle you normally use, and turn on the machine.
Washing Soda Soap
4. Place equal parts washing soda and borax in a zipper-style plastic bag or a plastic container with a lid.
5. Seal the bag or put the lid on the container.
6. Shake the bag or container well to combine the ingredients.
7. Add 2 tablespoons of the homemade soap to the dispenser in your electric dishwasher. Run the machine in the normal manner.
