Kill Lawn Bugs With Dish Soap

Dish soap
can be used in a variety of unexpected ways, including insect control in a lawn. This cheap and easy-to-use product can be applied to your lawn and won't cause any harm to your vegetation, nor will it cause any residual damage to the ground water as pesticides often do. Combined with a few other ingredients, dish soap can be used all year long as an all-natural insecticide.

Instructions

1. Mix 1 tbsp. of dish soap with 1 pint of warm water, or mix 1 cup of either safflower or sunflower oil together with 2 tbsp. of liquid dish soap and 1 cup of water. Pour the mixtures into spray bottles.

2. Spray the mixture onto your yard and vegetation. Pay special attention to the undersides of leaves, as bugs will often spend time in those places.

3. Apply the soap mixture as needed, especially after it rains or snows. If you live in a hot environment, apply the mixture at dusk. The hot sun can cause the soap to burn and potentially cause damage to the vegetation.
