Make Dish Soap At Home

Make Dish Soap at Home

Dish soap is handy for more tasks around the house than just washing dirty dishes. Dish soap can be used to hand-wash clothing in a pinch and to wipe down kitchen counters and the stove top. You might even use dish soap to wipe down the inside of your fridge and kitchen cupboards. Make your own homemade dish soap for a more environmentally friendly alternative to store-bought dish soap.

Instructions

1. Measure and pour into a bowl 1/2 cup of liquid castile soap. Add 1/2 cup of water to the liquid soap and mix the two together.

2. Add 1 tsp. of fresh lemon juice to the mixture.

3. Add three drops of essential oil in your preferred scent, if you wish, and stir.

4. Add 1/2 cup of white vinegar and stir it into the mixture.

5. Remove the lid from the squeeze bottle or soap pump and place the funnel over the opening. Pour the liquid dish soap into the container. Replace the lid.
