The Fisher & Paykel IWL16 is a washing machine that offers a delay start, variable temperature options, fabric softener rinse, spin speed options, wash advance, drip dry and different water levels, as well as an electronic control panel. If a problem occurs with the washer, an error code may appear on the control panel, such as "37," which indicates that something is blocking the pump filter. Cleaning the filters in the washing machine can help resolve the problem and return the washer to normal operation.
Instructions
1. Turn off and unplug the Fisher & Paykel washing machine. Open the lid on the machine.
2. Unscrew the nut in the center agitator by turning counterclockwise. Remove the nut and set aside.
3. Lift the agitator out of the washing machine. Clean the filter inside the agitator with a clean, damp cloth. Remove any large pieces of lint or debris. Reassemble the agitator in the machine and tighten the nut in the center.
4. Examine the space between the inner and outer tubs, as lint is removed during the wash and is pulled through the tubs for removal. Look for large items or debris that may be causing a problem and remove.
5. Place towels underneath the hoses in the rear of the washer. Disconnect the water hoses and clean the inlet filters in the hoses and at the point where the hoses connect to the washing machine. Reconnect the hoses firmly and restore power.
