Clean Dirty Granite Countertops

Clean dirty granite couters with a mild cleaning spray to preserve their beauty.

Granite is a beautiful natural stone that is formed in the earth by volcanic magma. It is frequently used as a countertop stone because of its beauty and durability. However, you may scar the surface of your countertop if you do not take the appropriate precautions. Abrasive cleaners and tools can stain and mar the surface, leaving it pitted and ugly. However, if you take good care of your granite countertop, it will stay both beautiful and functional for many years.

Instructions

1. Measure one cup of warm water into a clean, empty spray bottle.

2. Add 1 tsp. mild detergent.

3. Screw the top of the spray bottle on securely.

4. Shake the bottle vigorously to ensure that the detergent and the water are well blended together.

5. Spray the cleaning mixture directly on the surface of the granite countertop.

6. Wipe down with the microfiber cloth, scrubbing harder in areas where debris is difficult to remove.

7. Repeat as needed until all traces of dirt and debris have been cleaned from the granite surface.
