Most brands of capsule machines can be cleaned in the dishwasher
Capsule machines are benchtop capsule-fillers that let the user quickly and neatly fill empty gelatin or vegetarian capsules with a custom blend of whatever dry mix the user wishes to fill it with, such as custom herbal mixtures. There are a few different brands of capsule machines, such as The Capsule Machine by Capsule Connection LLC and Cap-M-Quick by Empty Caps Co. Both of these brands are made of dishwasher-safe plastic, which makes it easy to clean the capsule machine using standard operating procedure (SOP).
Instructions
1. Remove the last batch of capsules from the capsule machine, according to the manufacturer's directions.
2. Rinse the capsule machine with running water in a sink to remove remaining residual filling. Be sure to turn the unit several different directions while rinsing so it will rinse all corners.
3. Add dishwashing detergent to the dishwasher according to the manufacturer's directions.
4. Situate the capsule machine upside-down on the top rack of the dishwasher, ensuring that the dishwasher spray arm will have access to all areas of the capsule machine.
5. Start the dishwasher on a normal cycle.
6. Remove the unit from the dishwasher when the cycle is finished. Let it air-dry upside down.
