Clean a teak table with dish soap.
Teak tables are often found in outdoor patio areas, used with an outdoor dining set where the family can enjoy a meal on the patio or deck. Cleaning the teak table is required not only to remove food crumbs that spill onto the table, but also to remove outdoor elements such as pollen, bird droppings and other similar buildup. This can be done with a quick cleaning routine and a few inexpensive household cleaning items.
Instructions
1. Hose off the teak table regularly with the garden hose, when possible. If the hose is not an option, wipe down the table with a wet cloth.
2. Pour 2 tsp. dish soap, 1/2 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon water into a bucket for a more thorough cleaning.
3. Dip the cleaning rag in the solution, and wipe across the teak table. The soap removes bird droppings and food residue while the vinegar disinfects.
4. Rinse the cleaning rag with clear water, and wipe over the teak to remove the cleaner. Let the table air dry.
