Use Silicone Mini Muffin Pans

Miniature muffins will not stick to a silicone pan.

Metal miniature muffin pans are notorious for not releasing the cooked muffins. Use a silicone pan instead. These are made from heat-proof silicone which feels like rubber but is completely nonstick. Using these pans will require preparation of the pan before baking to maintain their nonstick surface and ensure the longevity of the pan. You will never have another burned mini muffin stuck in your pan again, if you switch from metal to silicone. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Instructions

1. Spray the wells of the mini muffin pan with cooking spray. Lightly dust the inside of the sprayed mini muffin wells with flour. Turn the pan upside down to remove the extra flour.

2. Set the pan on a baking sheet for so it's easier to take in and out of the oven, and to catch spills.

3. Bake your mini muffins according to your recipe. Use the recipe's time and temperature as directed up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Silicone is also microwave- and freezer-safe.

4. Cool the mini muffins in the pan until they reach room temperature. Turn the mini muffin pan upside down and bend it to release the muffins.

5. Wash the pan in the dishwasher and dry thoroughly before storing.
