The Bosch SHX46B05UC/14 dishwasher features an electronic control board that functions as the brain of the appliance. The control board dictates when each segment of the selected wash cycle occurs, in addition to processing the selections inputted by the user. As with all electronics, it is possible for the electronic control board to freeze, causing the dishwasher to become unresponsive. In this instance, resetting the dishwasher's power supply, which resets the control board, often restores the dishwasher to working order.
Instructions
1. Locate the dishwasher breaker in your home's main service panel.
2. Turn the breaker to the "Off" position, which cuts power to the dishwasher.
3. Allow the power to remain off for at least one minute to ensure that the dishwasher is completely reset.
4. Move the breaker to the "On" position to restore power to the dishwasher.
