Frigidaire dishwashers come with several available options, including a quiet motor, space organization system, large silverware basket, energy saving cycle, specific cycles for different types of cookware and dishes, and a digital control panel. However, none of these options will be useful if the spray arms do not move, which means that the dishes will not get cleaned as expected. There are a variety of reasons for this problem that may be resolved through some troubleshooting steps.
Instructions
1. Avoid overloading the dishwasher, as too many items may prevent the spray arms from rotating properly. Check both racks for items that may be hanging down, impeding the movement of the spray arms.
2. Wipe the spray arms with a clean cloth dipped in vinegar and clean each jet to remove possible obstructions.
3. Look for foreign items on the bottom of the dishwasher that may be blocking the bottom spray arm from operating properly. Remove and clean as necessary.
4. Inspect the spray arm connections and look for hardware that is loose or stuck, preventing correct movement. Repair as necessary.
