Install a Power Save 1200


The Power Save 1200 is a small gray box that fits next to your breaker panel and saves you money. Learn install a Power Save 1200 and protect your home and your wallet!


Instructions


1. Before doing any installation of the power save 1200, make sure that the main breaker switch is in the OFF position. It will remain in the OFF position until the installation is complete.


2. Install a two pole 20 amp breaker and secure the two red wires of the


power save 1200 unit. There will be one on each side of the breaker.


3. Next, secure the green wire from the power save 1200 to the ground bar in your breaker panel.


4. Next, remove the tabs or knockouts from the power save 1200 unit cover to allow access to the breaker switch when the cover is installed. Once you have removed those, install the cover over the power save 1200 unit.


5. Make sure that all wires are secure and that the power save 1200 unit is secure. Turn your main breaker lever to "ON". Turn the two pole 20 amp breaker to "ON" on the power save 1200 unit. Make sure that the indicator light is on. If the light does not come on, turn off your main breaker and the breaker on the power save 1200 unit and re-check all wires.


6. If your indicator light came on then you have successfully installed your power save 1200 unit. If you have re-checked all of your wiring and the power save 1200 unit's indicator light will still not come on, call tech support at 800-955-2238.
