Online classified websites are a modern twist on the traditional newspaper classified section, but there's nothing wrong with the old method. Newspaper classified pages charge customers to list items, but your listing is also exposed to a large number of newspaper readers. As with an online ad, potential buyers will contact you to arrange a viewing and purchase.
Garage Sale
Carting your appliances to a flea market might not be practical, but you might be able to get them to your garage or driveway for a weekend garage sale. As customers stop, they'll be able to see the condition of the item firsthand. Try to hold your sale on the same day as your neighbors -- there will be more reasons for potential buyers to visit your neighborhood.
