Clean A Ge Gsd2000 Dishwasher

The GSD2000 dishwasher by General Electric (GE) is a built-in washer that features three wash cycles, a rinse and hold cycle and a plate warming cycle. Optional accessories for the GSD2000 include colored panels and a wood panel trim kit to enhance the outside appearance of the dishwasher as well as coordinate with your kitchen decor. Proper use and maintenance of the dishwasher will keep it working as expected and looking like new.

Instructions

1. Dampen a soft, lint-free cloth with glass cleaner to wipe the control panel. Dry the control panel with a soft, lint-free cloth.

2. Apply an appliance polish wax on the exterior panel of the dishwasher. Follow the manufacturer's directions for using the wax. Buff the panel with a soft, lint-free cloth.

3. Turn off the dishwasher. Lift the chrome cover off the air gap if your dishwasher has an air gap installed. The air gap looks like a silver pillar mounted on the back of the kitchen sink or it be a small, round grill mounted behind the sink.

4. Unscrew the plastic cap on the air gap. Clean it with a toothpick to remove built up soil.

5. Screw on the plastic cap for the air gap. Replace the chrome cover.
