Although Frigidaire manufactures a number of appliances, there are basically only three with which you likely would have a leaking problem: dishwashers, refrigerators and washing machines. In most cases, a leaking appliance is not a major problem as long as the leak is small. Still, you will want to fix the appliance as quickly as possible to avoid water damage to your floor. The method you follow to fix a leak depends on which of your Frigidaire appliances is leaking.
Instructions
Refrigerator
1. Pull the refrigerator out and away from the wall.
2. Hand-tighten the screw at the bottom of the back of the refrigerator that connects the water line to the refrigerator's water inlet connection. If the connection is not tight enough, use an adjustable wrench to tighten it.
3. Push the refrigerator back into place.
Dishwasher
4. Measure detergent carefully and use only detergent designed for use in automatic dishwashers.
5. Wipe up any spilled rinse aid before starting a wash cycle. Spilled rinse aid can cause additional foaming, which may lead to leaks.
6. Place a level on top the dishwasher. If it is not level, turn the dishwasher's adjustable feet to level it.
Washer
7. Move the washer away from the wall.
8. Check and tighten the hot and cold water hose connections. Make sure the rubber sealing washers are installed at each connection.
9. Push the washer back into place.
