Clean your stainless steel appliances properly so the surface doesn't become scratched or damaged.
Viking manufactures a variety of kitchen appliances, with many of them having a stainless steel exterior. Whether you have a Viking refrigerator, range or microwave in your kitchen, cleaning the stainless steel on the appliance is a necessity to remove dirt, grease, food spills, smudges and other grime. Use the right products when cleaning your stainless steel Viking appliances to ensure no damage is done in the process.
Instructions
1. Mix a few drops of mild dish soap and hot water. Dip a soft cloth into the solution and wring it out well.
2. Wipe down the entire stainless steel surface, moving the rag in the direction of the stainless steels' grain. Rinse with a clean, damp cloth and buff the surface with a microfiber cloth.
3. Remove caked-on grime by covering the spot with a hot rag. Leave the rag on the spot for several minutes to soften the stain. Scrape gently with a nylon scraper or spatula, and then clean the area with warm, soapy water. Dry the appliance thoroughly with a microfiber cloth.
4. Clean the appliances with stainless steel cleaner if fingerprints and smudges are on the surface. Spray the cleaner onto a soft cloth and rub it gently over the surface. Wipe with a microfiber cloth to buff the stainless steel and restore shine.
