Grayland, Washington, offers a scenic seaside location, two miles from Twin Harbors Beach State Park and Grayland Beach State Park. Several motels in Grayland give you a place to stay with a local twist on things -- there are no chains here. If they're full or you need something else, Westport, five miles north, also has a selection of motels.
Ocean Spray Motel
You'll find the Ocean Spray Motel on the coastal road, State Highway 105. Rather than individual rooms, you may stay in brightly-painted cottages with one or two bedrooms. There are also some more standard motel units. Some cottages come with a fireplace, some with a fully-equipped kitchen and bed configurations vary. The motel is family-owned and offers fixed summer and winter rates. The Ocean Spray Motel expects you to fish, and provides a fish cleaning station too. It's kid friendly with a playground, picnic tables and board games.

Walsh Motel
Another sea-front motel, the Walsh Motel offers rooms and suites in a main building and series of free-standing cabins. All are surrounded by gardens where kids can play in the playground. Suites come with a private balcony, Jacuzzi and sea views. Cottages feature fire pits and the interior combinations of beds and accommodations varies. The Sea Star Restaurant is this motel's closest neighbor.

Surf Spray RV Park, Apartments & Laundromat
The Surf Spray has an attached RV park and includes fully-equipped kitchens in the cost of your room. You can enjoy a shared picnic area with grills, and if you like it here enough, you can even stay long-term in a studio apartment.
