GE Triton dishwashers were designed with a reset feature that allows you to stop the current washing cycle. You may have several reasons for wanting to stop the wash cycle, including dishes that were not placed in the dishwasher, forgetting to add dishwashing detergent to the machine or programming the wrong dishwashing cycle. By resetting the GE Triton, you can stop the machine, make any needed adjustments and start the cycle again.
Instructions
1. Press the "Start/Reset" button on the control panel on the front of your GE Triton dishwasher to stop the current cycle.
2. Wait at least 90 seconds for the water in the dishwasher to drain. The "Start/Reset" indicator light will blink until all of the water in the dishwasher is drained. You can open the dishwasher door when the light stops blinking.
3. Enter the new wash cycle you want to run by pressing the corresponding cycle button on the front of the GE Triton dishwasher and press the "Start/Reset" button to start the cycle.
