The Thermador coffee maker gives you fresh brewed coffee in minutes.
The Thermador coffee machine is a fully automatic built-in coffee maker that features an LCD display screen and stainless steel finish. The amount and strength settings enable you to brew coffee according to your preferences. The Thermador coffee maker also has an adjustable nozzle so that you can fill a variety of cup sizes. The knobs and buttons are intimidating at first but operation of the Thermador coffee maker is really straight forward.
Instructions
Brewing Coffee and Espresso
1. Fill the water tank with cold water. Do not fill past the "Max" line.
2. Fill the bean container located on the top of the machine with coffee beans. Turn the knob next to the container to adjust the grinding setting when the grinder is on.
3. Turn the power switch on the back of the machine on.
4. Press the power button located on the far left of the control panel. When the power button and the "Cafe" button next to it light up the coffee maker is ready to use.
5. Set the function selector so that it points to the cup icon (straight down). The display screen should read "Coffee."
6. Turn the filling quantity knob (next to the cafe button) to select how much coffee to brew. Turn counter clockwise to select single amounts and clockwise to double each of these selections. For example, the first position to the left is one small espresso, and the first position to the right is two small espressos.
7. Turn the knob next to the filling quantity knob to select the strength of your coffee.
8. Place a cup (or cups) under the dispenser nozzle. You may need to adjust the height to suit your cup.
9. Press the cafe button to start brewing. Press it again to stop brewing.
Dispensing Hot Water
10. Press the sleeve on the hot water nozzle (on the side of the unit) down.
11. Place a cup under the nozzle
12. Turn the selector to hot water (icon with three lines) and fill the cup.
13. Turn the selector back to its original position and push the nozzle sleeve back up when finished.
Steam
14. Check that the nozzle sleeve is up and immerse the nozzle into the liquid to be steamed.
15. Turn the function selector to the steam icon -- the icon showing three lines above a half cloud -- and wait. It will take about 20 seconds for the machine to heat the water.
16. Turn the selector back to its original position when finished.
Frothing Milk
17.Check that the nozzle sleeve is pushed up.
18. Fill a cup 1/3 full with milk and immerse the nozzle about 3/4 inches into the milk.
19. Turn the function selector to steam and wait. The machine will heat for about 20 seconds before frothing the milk. Rotate the cup slowly as you froth.
20. Turn the selector to its original position when finished.
