The J.D. Energy and Affiliates 2010 Laundry Appliance Satisfaction Study looked into how happy clients are using the automatic washers they have bought. It found Samsung proprietors were probably the most pleased with their washing machines, then proprietors of Kenmore Elite and Electrolux machines.
Types
Front-loading and top-loading machines dominate the washer market, although not all brands offer both types at major retail shops. For instance, the only real Fisher & Paykel and Roper machines transported by Lowe's in September 2010 were top-loading models, and all sorts of its Electrolux, Frigidaire, and Bosch models were front-loading machines.
Prices
Whirlpool had probably the most costly model offered by two major merchants in September 2010, a higher-efficiency, top-loading machine that cost $1,800 at one store and $2,000 in the other. Inglis, Roper, General electric, and Whirlpool made the cheapest-cost models offered at exactly the same stores.
Dimensions
Whirlpool and LG made the machines using the greatest capacity available available at major stores in fall 2010, appliances hold 5.2 cubic ft of laundry. Whirlpool, Bosch, Roper, Maytag, and General electric offered the littlest models, with capabilities varying from 2.one to two.6 cubic ft.
