Danby started in 1947, and it is headquartered in Findlay, Ohio. Danby sells the DPAC10061 unit, which is a combination portable air conditioner and dehumidifier.
Cooling Capacity
The Danby DPAC10061 Portable Air Conditioner comes with fan, air conditioning and dehumidifying modes. The dehumidifying mode removes up to 8.75 gallons of moisture from the air. The air conditioning section cools up to 450 square feet, and the fan has three speeds: low, high and medium. This unit also comes with four-way oscillating louvers, and this feature moves up, down, right or left. It comes with an external and internal bucket for capturing moisture, and the internal bucket holds up to 0.79 gallons. If the bucket gets full, an indicator light will come on. The Danby DPAC10061 Portable Air Conditioner is white in color.
Dimensions
The portable air conditioner weighs 112 lbs., and its dimensions are 17.5 inches long by 20 inches wide and 33.75 inches high. It has a cooling capacity of 10,000 British Thermal Units (BTUs). The machine comes with an 18-month warranty on parts and labor. To run this unit you must have a plug with at least a 60 hertz (Hz) frequency and 115 volt (V) of alternating current (AC) power.
