Troubleshoot A Frigidaire Portable Ultra Quiet Iii

The Frigidaire Ultra Quiet III dishwasher is a portable unit that can be stored when not in use and connected to a power and water source when a dishwasher is needed. The dishwasher also has an upper, middle and lower spray arm, glass trap, self-cleaning filter, detergent cup, rinse aid dispenser and adjustable racks. While standard care and maintenance should help keep the dishwasher working well, problems may occur with the unit. If this happens, some troubleshooting may help you determine and solve the situation.

Instructions

1. Ensure the Frigidaire portable dishwasher is connected to a power supply and the faucet connector is completely connected to the sink faucet. Push down on the collar and connect the adapter onto the faucet. The connector should snap into position. Release the connector once the connector is snapped into place.

2. Use a volt meter to check the power at the electrical outlet where the dishwasher is connected. The recommended voltage is 120 volts with a grounded three-prong outlet. Volt meters are available at most home repair stores.

3. Avoid using the faucet to get water for other uses while the dishwasher is filling or draining if the water supply seems low. Try to avoid using the faucet for other water uses if possible while the dishwasher is running a cycle.

4. Make new wash selections if dishes are still soiled after the cycle is complete. Fill the detergent dispenser with the recommended amount of detergent and check the incoming water temperature, which should reach at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

5. Fill the rinse aid dispenser with the recommended amount of rinse aid if dishes are still wet after the dishwasher finishes. Do not overload the racks; do use hot or warm heat dry cycles.

6. Clean out the detergent cup and use fresh detergent if there is residue in the dispenser. Use a towel to wipe the detergent cup dry to prevent sticking or clumping. Load the dishwasher so that there is room in front of the detergent dispenser and objects do not block it from opening.
