Change The Controls On A Danby

The controls on Danby humidifiers include fan speed and humidity percentage as well as controls on the device's function panel, a button for toggling between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperatures, and a control to turn the unit on or off. You will also see displays for humidity percentage, the current temperature and notifications from the defrost and bucket full lights. You can set your Danby humidifier to the desired configuration in less than five minutes.

Instructions

1. Turn your Danby humidifier on by pressing the "Power" button. The Power button is located at the bottom-right corner of the function control panel's interface.

2. Change the humidifier's fan speed from high to low by pressing the "Fan Speed" button. This button is located directly next to the Power button and has a fan icon on it.

3. Press the "Timer" button next to "Fan Speed" to set the number of hours until the humidifier is to be powered off. Press the "Timer" button while the power is off to set the number of hours until the device is powered on again. The Timer ranges from one to 24 hours. It is displayed on the Timer Set Display screen on the middle of the interface. Set the timer to "0" to cancel the timer feature entirely.

4. Press the "°C/°F" Button to change to and from Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature readings. The Danby humidifier displays its temperature on the "Current Temp" display screen, which also doubles as the Timer Set Display screen.

5. Check the humidifier's "Defrost" light to see if the device's temperature has become too low. This light becomes illuminated when temperatures reach levels lower than what the device needs to run efficiently.

6. Check the "Bucket Full" light to see when the humidifier's internal bucket has reached maximum levels. The Bucket Full light is located directly above the Power light on the function control panel.
