Make A Spray Paint Rack

Store spray paints on a rack for easy accessibility.

A spray paint rack allows you to organize and store all your spray paints within an organized space. After making such a rack, you can hang it on the wall or set it on a flat surface for easy access. You can build a spray paint rack in a relatively short amount of time with wood and small nails.

Instructions

1. Place the 5-inch wide by 18-inch long bass wood on a flat surface running horizontally. Select the bass wood section that measures 12 inches by 18 inches and apply wood glue along the base of the 18-inch edge.

2. Press the 18-inch glued edge of the 12-inch by 18-inch wood section along the back of the 18-inch edge of the 18-inch by 5-inch wood section. Drive one nail every 6 inches from the bottom side of the 18-inch by 5-inch section of wood to join the two pieces permanently and to create an L-shaped wood structure.

3. Line one 12-inch and one 4 1/2-inch edge of the 12-inch by 4 1/2-inch section of bass wood with wood glue. Press the wood section along the top and front edge of the back section along the end. This will create an end for the spray paint rack. Repeat this process at the opposite end with the remaining 4 1/2-inch by 12-inch wood section.

4. Drive one nail every 4 inches along the back and bottoms of each end to join them permanently.

5. Line the front and bottom edges of the 3-inch by 18-inch wood section with wood glue and press the wood section onto the front of the rack. Drive two nails through each 3-inch side and one nail every 4 inches along the front, bottom edge to join the rack front permanently.
