Clean Handprints Off A Stainless Steel Dishwasher

Clean Handprints Off a Stainless Steel Dishwasher

Stainless steel dishwashers create a modern and crisp look in a kitchen. They also have a tendency to get spots and fingerprints on the dishwasher door. And the reflective surface is irresistible to small children. In a house with toddlers, the stainless steel dishwasher door often looks like a toddler's finger-painted canvas. Luckily, you can clean hand prints from stainless steel dishwashers with the right cleaner and a little effort.

Instructions

1. Use a cleaner made for windows or stainless steel appliances. Both of these cleaners work well in removing grease from the dishwasher, and will not damage the surface.

2. Spray the cleaner directly onto the dishwasher door. Lightly mist the entire area that needs to be cleaned.

3. Wipe off the cleaner with a clean rag. Continue to wipe until all the cleaner has been removed, so there are not any streaks left. If the rag becomes too wet with cleaner, get a dry rag to finish the job.
