Install A Frigidaire Precision Wash System Ultra Quiet Ii

With the water lines, drain lines and electrical lines installed, you can have your Frigidaire Precision Ultra Quiet II dishwasher installed in a matter of an hour with the use of basic hand tools. The Ultra Quiet plus is designed to fit under a countertop with a minimum clearance of 34 and a quarter inches tall, 24 inches deep and 24 inches wide. Measure the opening under your countertop before purchasing to ensure a proper fit.

Instructions

1. Loosen the nuts that secure the leveling legs to the bottom of the dishwasher with an adjustable wrench. Place the dishwasher in front of the cabinet where you will install it and adjust the legs until the dishwasher rests slightly lower than the opening. Level the dishwasher from front to back with a bubble level and then tighten the nuts that secure the leveling legs to the back of the dishwasher with the adjustable wrench.

2. Slide the dishwasher under the cabinet. Leave one inch of the dishwasher sticking out. Level the unit from side to side with the bubble washer. Tighten the nuts that secure the adjustable legs to the front of the dishwasher with the adjustable wrench.

3. Pull the dishwasher out and tighten the nuts on the legs to lock them in place. This completes the leveling process.

4. Secure the moisture barrier material under the front edge of the countertop. The material is self-sticking.

5. Turn off the power to the kitchen via the breaker box. Remove the terminal panel cover from the back of the dishwasher with a screwdriver. Feed the wires from the electrical cable through the conduit connector and then tighten the connector with a wrench. Wire the white wires together, the black wires together and connect the green or bare wire to the grounding screw with a screwdriver. Secure the terminal cover.

6. Secure the drain hose to the backside of the dishwasher with a band clamp and a screwdriver.

7. Wrap Teflon tape around the threads on a 3/8-inch elbow and screw the elbow onto the water inlet located behind the front kick panel of the dishwasher. Use an adjustable wrench to tighten the elbow. Attach the 3/8 inch hot water line coming from your sink cabinet, which should have a compression-type fitting on the end. If you are replacing your dishwasher, this line should be in place.

8. Feed the hoses through the hole in the side of the cabinet so the other end of the hoses rest below the kitchen sink. If the cabinet is not equipped with access holes, Drill a one and a half inch hole with a drill and hole saw.

9. Connect the drain hose to the waste port on your garbage disposable or onto the waste tee installed by your plumber. Use a band clamp and a screwdriver to secure the hose. Thread and tighten the hot water line into the hot water shut-off valve installed by your plumber.

10. Slide the dishwasher under the countertop.
